Did you ever go to any public school? There was probably a time in your life when you didn't make much money either. Also keep in mind that if everyone made $20/hr or more that $.99 cheeseburger would be $2, clothes, haircuts, etc. would all cost substantially more. No one believes in wasteful government, but we all differ on what we think is appropriate. My problem was that the information presented was definitely biased and the message given to our legislators via the signs was in poor taste. No, you don't need a survey to find that out. People who own homes, buy homes, and sell homes pay taxes. Renters and students (both mostly Democrats) are not taxed very much b/c they don't make alot and yes, probably believe we (the people making money) dont' pay enough. Simple?
