Monday was a day full of stories from fellow agents about ice dams at their listings and from the ice dam that clogged our roof drain and caused our roof to leak in about 1/2 dozen places in the building and created standing water in several spots. Minnesota Offers $2 Million in Energy Saver Rebates

An additional $2 million in Energy Saver Rebates is available for homeowners who install eligible energy-saving home improvements. These improvements must be financed using a Fix-up Fund loan, which allows homeowners finance the cost of making energy efficient upgrades. This just came through my email... is it down due to a problem with the vendors web site or due to unprecedented demand?  Only time will tell... Minnesota Appliance Rebate Program Details Released – Up To $200 Back!

The Minnesota Department of Commerce's Office of Energy Security (what a mouthful) has just released more information on their energy star appliance rebate program. On March 1 @ 8am the website and a phone number will launch with a rebate reservation system - residents will have to pre-register for the rebate and receive a specific reservation code.  There are only approximately 24,500 rebates for the entire state so they are likely to go VERY FAST. Water Conservation – Cities Thinking Backwards?
