About St. Cloud

The median age in St. Cloud is 28.9, lowered in some part by the presence of St. Cloud State University and its enrollment of more than 17,000.

In addition to being a well respected institution of higher learning, St. Cloud State University is also home to one of Minnesota’s five Division I hockey programs.

St. Cloud maintains 95 parks, ranging from small neighborhood parks to the 243-acre Whitney Memorial Park, located on the former site of the city airport.

Test scores were slightly higher than the state average in both math and reading in 2010, according to a Money Magazine report.

St. Cloud was recently chosen to host the Can-Am Police and Fire Games in 2012.
