There are many different housing options available in the city. Plymouth has a large variety of condos and townhomes for sale, from 30 years old to just a few years old. Single family homes are much the same – with most homes for sale ranging from the 1960′s to the 2000′s.

After coming in at No. 1 in Money magazine’s list of best places to live in 2008, Plymouth “fell” all the way to No. 11 when the magazine next ranked cities its size (50,000 to 300,000) in 2010. Clearly the city has a lot to offer.
Near the top of that list is its location. One major artery (I-494) runs through it, another major highway (Highway 169) forms its eastern border and another interstate that provides convenient access to downtown Minneapolis (I-394) is just minutes south of the city.
Education is also top-notch. Based on data from 2010, Plymouth test scores were 37.7 percent higher than the state average in reading and 40.0 percent higher than the state average in math.
Recreational opportunities are also not hard to find in a city that offers more than 120 miles of trails and 1,200 acres of park land.
